Soft Anxiety

During the pandemic, we found ourselves confined within our homes—perhaps due to a lack of outlets for our energy or a dearth of social interaction. In the quiet of countless nights, unable to find sleep, and in the mornings devoid of sunlight, the once distinct boundaries of time and space began to blur. This life of being contained within the four walls of my residence granted me a unique understanding of my surroundings, causing me to take notice of things I would normally overlook as mundane.

In the midst of this prolonged solitude, I began to scrutinize myself, reacquainting myself with who I am and learning how to coexist with my own company. Yet, much like staring at a familiar word for too long until it suddenly feels unfamiliar, this quiet, poignant unease forms the essence of my work.
